The Soil Science Society of Georgia consists of approximately 70 members. The objectives of the organization are:

– to promote the accumulation, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge pertaining to the soils of Georgia

– to provide a medium for exchange of information  by those interested in Soil Science and closely related areas

We have an annual meeting in February of each year.  Annual meetings are held in Athens, GA every other year and at various locations throughout the state or region in other years.  We also sponsor a number of training sessions that provide education credits for certification.
